Today is a tragedy in France. We have witnessed a barbaric act that attack of fundamental principles of democracy – freedom of speech. At this time, when I am writing this post, 12 people have been killed by masked gunmen at the office of a well-known satirical magazine called Charlie Hebdo. The first elements let us think that this is retaliation for the humoristic attacks this magazine has posted over the years against the Islamic religion – and that the crime is religious in nature. This could have lasting consequences in French society, leading to climate of suspicion and animosity toward Muslims – let’s hope it won’t escalate. The far right political party is already commenting of this terrorist attack nevertheless…
Using news to do analysis after the events is always tricky, especially when it comes to astrological influences: after all, if the event cannot be prevented, it means that this tool is not used its full extent. This is the reason why the analysis of individual charts – Bazi profiling – is always more meaningful: on the 12 people killed, all charts must have shown signs of great clash for this year, month and day. It is however my belief that what is known as individual fate is the meeting of individual destiny tendencies and collective astrological influences that are on the planet. I will just therefore notice that on this second day of the Yin Fire Ox month, the day itself is Gui Wei, Yin Water over the Goat. It is a total clash with the month, and here we have a clash of Water and Fire, but also Fire and Metal within the month. In my article posted a few days ago, here is what I have highlighted:
Fire and Metal clashes nevertheless: especially in that case, as the Ox contains the Yin form of Metal – controlled by the Yin Fire. Moreover, the Horse of this year still contains the Yin Fire: therefore this little guy doesn’t go out without a fight….But all of this is buffered by the Earth, so not as violent as lat month. Let’s not forget that Fire is not “in season” in winter. Last month was a Fire/Water clash that brought problems to boats and planes and gunfight. This month is a Fire/Metal clash but buffered…
In the possible events, we can therefore see:
More gunfight problems. Either hostage situations or possible rampage…This is not what I wish, but what this clash might bring.
It is quite tragic to see a challenging tendency fulfilled in such a heinous way. My thoughts go to the families of the people killed, and in France we are all shocked by this fundamental attack on human lives, decency and freedom of speech. What a start for this month…
