The Yin Wood Goat month goes from the 7th of July to the 7th of August included in the solar calendar.
Here is an analysis of the Chi of this month and my practical advices.
If you are not familiar with the Flying Stars of other names used, please refer to the guide below the monthly article.
Astrological season: We are now at the end of the summer season. This season is made of the Snake, Horse and Goat signs.
The Goat is an Earth sign and also the storage (end) of Wood in the cycle of Elements.
The Stem this month is Yi or Yin Wood. Yi represents shrubs, grass and small bushes. It is characterised by its ability to bend and adapt while still being strong and determined.
The combination of both sees the Wood re-emerging durign a season while it normally declines. This Chi is a sign of great vitality and can help people who needs the Wood Element in their Bazi. Nevertheless it also agitates the liver and the emotion of anger. For this reason the month could bring some level of societal agitation; but there is also the impetus for hope and change contained within. This flexible Wood Chi is ideal for body work such as yoga and the Goat is a great time for gatherings and coming together. It is also a time when dialog is easier and renewed. Overall it’s an ideal month to take care of your body, see friends, spend time in nature and practising your art. Writers and painters might be particularly inspired now. The restlessness of last month is gone and this period is more joyful.
Jia Qi (sub-seasons, based on solar terms). They were devised on the Chinese calendar and might resonate a bit less in the Southern hemisphere.
